Romeo and Juliet were stupid, killing themselves over lust and infatuation. Imagine, going to a ball, seeing someone and suddenly thinking "OH MY GOODNESS! I HAVE TO LOVE HIM NOW." And when things don't quite work out as they plan [when staging your own faked death], then both kill themselves. Whee. What a mature way of handling things.
And if Shakespeare had never created this whole tragedy, I wouldn't need to be doing this monologue.
Maybe I should have done macbeth...
